Today see’s the launch of the Mercedes AMG F1 car for 2022, driven by Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. Ahead of the launch set for later today at Silverstone surfaces a leaked image of the car with what appears to be the drivers standing next to it. And gone is the black livery with an apparent return to silver.
Details can’t be made out too well, but it clearly has very narrow sidepods with an aggressively raised front floor.
TJ13 released some concept images some weeks ago, and it is clear that we weren’t quite correct in terms of livery!
