As the Emilia-Romagna Formula 1 Grand Prix in Imola approaches, Charles Leclerc is quick to warn Ferrari.
After some rather complicated previous F1 seasons, Ferrari is in full success at the beginning of the 2022 season thus far. With Carlos Sainz Jr and especially Charles Leclerc, the Scuderia is currently dominating the field. The Monegasque leads his rivals with 2 victories in the first 3 Grands Prix, whilst current champion Max Verstappen has stumbled with reliability issues and Lewis Hamilton is nowhere.
Obviously, with the race coming up in Italy and the Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna, Ferrari will be keen to win on home soil, but Leclerc was keen to warn his team.
“Don’t put extra pressure on yourself”
“Italy will be incredible, but we have to approach the race weekend as we have approached the first three,
“I think it’s extremely important not to put any extra pressure on ourselves and not to try to do too much. We’ve been working extremely well as a team since the start of the season and we just need to continue to do our job, as we have done in the first three weekends,” said Leclerc.
