Russian GP – How did I do last time?
Well James Vowells and Toto Wolff certainly spun the wheel of fortune for poor Valtteri last week and to some degree for Vettel too, so I think it did come true, but not in the way I thought.
Astrologically speaking, this weekend sees a waning moon in Virgo leading to criticism for not living up to expectations, analysis and a need to feel valued.
What can we expect to see in the Japanese Grand Prix?
Mood for the weekend – Nine of Swords
What to look out for – Ace of Cups
Outcome – Knight of Coins
Mood of the weekend: Nine of Swords
On the card, Robb Stark’s direwolf Grey Wind is trapped in a cage at The Twins, before The Red Wedding.
The suit of Swords represents the element of air, which shows us logic, communication and challenges.
The traditional meaning of this card is a feeling of nightmares, being overwhelmed, trapped in situation that you can’t work your way out of.
What I think we have here is someone, or more than one person feeling trapped in a situation that he can’t see a way out of, Vettel, Ocon, Claire Williams, Bottas, Kimi, it could be any of these or all of them. It’s getting towards the business end of the season and sacrifices have to be made, as seen last week, now decisions have to be made, do I keep playing this game or do I escape by saying “What the hell, I’ve got nothing to lose, let’s show them what they’re missing”. This card is saying you need to think carefully about how you got into this mess and how you’re going to get out of it, always assuming you want to escape.
Grey Wind knows his capture is not going to end well but that still doesn’t squash his primal instinct of attack and escape and this is what needs to go ahead in the paddock, attack and escape or you’re going to be stuck in this nightmare for a long time. As any watcher of the show knows, what comes next is not going to be pleasant, The Red Wedding.
What to look out for: Ace of Cups
On the card, the cup is the wedding goblet given to Joffrey and Margaery by Mace Tyrell.
The suit of Cups represents the element of water, which, in turn, shows us emotions and intuition.
Traditionally this card shows the beginnings of a relationship, an emotional fresh start as well as the awakening of intuition.
Following on from the last card, this is saying that breaking out of the nightmarish situation you found yourself in lately, you can look forward to a brand new start, emotionally and intuitively. Like Margaery, who found herself in a nightmare situation of being married to Joffrey until fate (and her Grandmother) intervened and Joffrey dropped dead at his wedding feast. She dealt with the inconvenience of her husband dropping dead by marrying his brother, therefore still becoming Queen. Now I’m not saying to get out of your current situation you should poison your rival with The Strangler, but use your initiative and take advantage of any problems they are experiencing to promote yourself and don’t accept any invitations to any weddings.
Outcome: Knight of Coins
On the card, Brienne of Tarth sits on her horse holding a coin with the sigil of the Faith of the Seven on it.
The suit of coins, or pentacles, represents the element of earth, this also shows us the material world, money, career, family, home and the actual earth.
Traditionally this card is about practical dependability, loyalty hard work and caution.
I’m thinking that after the turmoil of the first card, the realisation of what you can be rather than what others want you to be of the second card, this card is saying that you are going to be a loyal, reliable person that people can trust. You may not be the most exciting driver in the world but trustworthy, which is possibly why you feel people are walking all over you, but that is your greatest strength, you just have to find out who deserves your loyalty and trust rather than give it to someone who will abuse it.
Brienne of Tarth is a very loyal and dependable knight, she kept her word to Caitlyn Stark to protect her daughters, she was loyal to Renly Baratheon, even avenging his death by executing Stannis and her trust in Jaime Lannister is unwavering. She may not be the most beautiful woman in the world or the most exciting but she certainly is the most dependable and this is what you need to show. You may not be as charismatic and rich as Lewis, as flamboyant as Max, as gobby as Kevin, as talented as Charles and as pragmatic as Seb but you are loyal and trustworthy, which is worth so much more.
Summary:
Now that the fallout from Russia is settling, a lot of serious contemplation is going on in the paddock. Someone, or several someone’s have decided they have had enough of the nightmarish situation they’re in and they want to break free (put that hoover away please) and start again. By doing this, you can become that loyal, dependable person that you know you can be, without feeling like a doormat and having people walk all over you like they have done in the past. And again, don’t accept any wedding invitations, weddings in Westeros do not end well; ask Robb Stark and King Joffrey.
