Ricciardo, Bottas, Raikkonen: A seismic shift in loyalties

The Azerbaijan GP could see a big shift in driver loyalties

About @reefgirl3 – A Tarot reading knitter, with a love of cooking and loud music. I love my garden, my daughter and my partner, I love science fiction especially Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Star Trek, Star Wars and Babylon 5. I’m a big fan of F1, Wintersports and Cycling. In other words I’m an all round geek.

Chinese GP – So how did I do last time?

Well the Emperor stands for order from chaos and that points most directly at Daniel Ricciardo’s magnificent drive and Red Bull’s efficient management of the safety car. The Ace of Coins and its meaning of investment by an outsider is still in the future, but as it’s the second time it’s shown itself, it’s becoming more and more likely.

The Five of Cups and it’s mourning for loss and bereavement, well Vettel is most definitely what could have been, same with Bottas and Hamilton.

Good news in the heavens, Mercury is now direct and going forwards and there’ll be no more miscommunication until Hungary. Bad news, two of the heavyweights in the zodiac are now in retrograde, Saturn and Pluto.

Saturn is the planet of boundaries, restriction, rules, duty and Karma, Saturn in retrograde in Capricorn may have all of us particularly focused on meeting exacting standards and acting with integrity and if we have not been up to standard, there could be a Karmic price to pay. Pluto is the darkest planet in the Zodiac, it is the planet of death, transformation, rebirth, change and survival, on the dark side it controls are deepest, darkest feelings and fears.

Pluto is also retrograde in Capricorn, normally Pluto unearths darkness in the public sphere, being a generational planet it usually affects an entire generation rather than an individual, however, when retrograde, it brings massive change to our personal lives. This journey comes from deep within the soul, and you already know it very well. Pluto Retrograde advances from the inside out; intensely pressurizing the ego until a completely new youbursts forth. This transit brings us closer to who we need to become.

With an almost full moon in opposition to Uranus in Scorpio, this could lead to some emotional darkness, as people want to break free and change the world around them, so look out for some Banzai moves as the red mist descends.

What can we expect to see from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix?

Mood for the weekend – Three of Swords

What to look out for – Eight of Swords

Outcome – Nine of Cups

Mood for the weekend: Three of Swords

On the card, three swords, Longclaw, Oathkeeper and Widows Wail, pierce a flaming heart of R’hillor, the Lord of Light; the background shows clouds and snow.

Swords represent the element of air, which shows us logic, communication and challenges

Oh dear, this card is all about heartbreak, and betrayal (All the sword owners have been betrayed at some point, Jon Snow, Ser Joer, Joffrey and Brienne of Tarth) Someone this weekend is going to feel betrayed by the team or the teammate (Kimi? Valtteri? Danny Ric?, it’s happened before) the heartbreaks felt by the betrayed will lead them to contemplate their loyalties. As the owners of the three Valyrian Steel swords contemplated their loyalties after their betrayals, they walked away, pledged their loyalties to someone else and progressed further.

What to look out for: Eight of Swords

On the card, Brienne of Tarth sits beneath a tree surrounded by swords, she gazes at her sword, Oathkeeper, which is just out of her reach.

This card is all about feeling trapped. On more traditional cards, the woman is blindfolded and lightly bound, she could escape if she wanted to but it’s easier to stay trapped and blame circumstances for her position.

Brienne is so caught up with duty, her oath to Caitlyn Stark to protect her daughters, the regret she couldn’t save Renly and her hatred of Stannis that she has no time for herself and the things close to her (Jaime?) She has discharged all of the oaths she made but still she clings to her duty. Someone in the paddock is in the same situation as Brienne, shackled by duty and loyalty, but with the events of the previous card, that loyalty is shifting, they can see that gap in the swords that shows freedom and their ‘Oathkeeper’ is within their grasp. All they need to do is reach out and grab it to begin fighting again.

Outcome: Nine of Cups

On the card, Samwell Tarly sits in the library in Castle Black surrounded by his beloved books. On a high shelf, nine goblets stand, Sam is looking pleased with himself.

The suit of cups represents the element of water, which shows up emotion and intuition.

This is one of the best cards in the deck, it’s the wish card, all your wishes will come true when this card shows up in a reading, but, the old warning also comes into play, be careful what you with for, it may come true.

After watching the other cards in this reading play out, wishes will come true, someone will get what they desire, whether it’s respect, a better drive, a win or a new contract with better conditions. By the end of the weekend, someone will be very smug indeed.

Summary:

After being dealt a very cruel hand thanks to a team or teammate’s tactics, someone is going to contemplate their situation very seriously, the two sword cards confirm this. They are feeling trapped and they need to break free of the shackles placed on them by the team (Kimi? Valtteri? Dan?) After a shift in loyalties, this could see a change in teams being considered by someone. This reading is showing a definite story, a beginning, a middle and an end, it won’t be completed this weekend and may rumble on for months.
