#TJ13 #F1 Courtroom Podcast: “Old and Past Their Best”

An exciting week in the shed as the ever wonderful and remarkably perspicacious Queen V, Vivian Bove, finally returns after a long absence. Bringing her unique Kimi flavored analysis back to the panel as well as her awesome collection of Ferrari gear, Spanners is finally forced to get the broom out and clean the place up a bit.(Really Spanners, was it all that hard?)

Chief Pop Top Opener and keen #2 joke spotter, Editor in Chief AJ returns yet again, determined to see how many words he can say in a single breath and succeeds far beyond anyone’s wildest imagination. As ever, his ability to wax lyrical on the most technical of subjects truly does boggle the mind.

Batting cleanup this week it’s once again all round beautiful person Mattpt55, displaying the fierce and piercing intellect for which his legion of fans have come to adore him. He joins as ever Host in Chief and fanatical mangler of words Spanners Ready in completing the All Star lineup for this week’s podcast.

This week the panel looks first to the many records of Lewis Hamilton (and we don’t mean the musical kind) and assesses how the wunderkind from Stevenage is really doing. With a brief pause to address the swirl of rumours surrounding new entrants to the sport the panel bravely deconstructs the latest sound and fury to emanate from Biggin Hill (or as my autocorrect likes to term it “Bugging Hill”).

Come test your wits with the panel as Spanners unveils the latest and most fiendish incarnation of his quiz, and discover which of the panel members should no longer be trusted with sharp objects since they knew the right answer but still got it wrong thanks to their inability to follow directions.

The panel returns to cast a weathered eye at the British Grand Prix as well as the medicinal properties of Pimms. A fierce debate rages over the vagaries of Williams’ strategy during the race and silly season rumours regarding Ferrari’s non-Vettel seat are examined. Hint: Queen V thinks the best person for the job is already there.

This week the panel learns Things about the breadth of Spanners’s acting ability as well the dangers of painting with words.

Thanks again to the Jury for providing an excellent stream of comments and facts. Unfortunately we were too distracted by Vivian’s Ferrari hat to get to them but we’ll do better next time, Jury, we promise. Honest. Join @SpannersReady, @Mattpt55, @ajhuntf1 and @VivianBove on Twitter where we sometimes talk about stuff. With Words.

iTunes 5 star reviews: We would also like to take this opportunity to ask you all for your support. As the TJ13 community grows the Podcast is becoming a huge part of the journey. From recent chats within the F1 paddock in Jerez we have found it is establishing a following within the world of F1 and we would like to continue to grow and make TJ13 the number one site for F1 information across the globe.

One way to establish this would be if you could all vote on iTunes with a five star rating as this then pushes the podcast up the rankings and in turn brings more people into the site. This will allow further development of the site, contributors and always with the vision of giving everybody a voice.
