  1. Gave it a 5 – Tyre strategy was the only thing that was of any interest in the race and as it turned out it had virtually no effect. It never ceases to amaze me that, what is perennially one of the dullest races on the calendar, is almost always a sell-out,

    • There’s a lot more to Budapest than the GP- it’s a great location for a holiday. Also it’s the Finns’ local GP, so get lots of Kimi and Valteri fans there. Also it’s cheap as chips, you can see loads of the track from most seats and the locals know where to go for a good view in general admission. Easyjet fly there for next to nothing and the hotels are good value. All in all a great gig.

      • So I’ve read. Good for the Hungarians for putting on a fan friendly race. Maybe Liberty Media should look at why it works and replicate it elsewhere instead of wasting their time pretending they’ll have races in Miami, Vegas…………
