Ferrari fan arrested in Maranello after extreme stunt to see Hamilton and Leclerc; excitement boils over with Ferrari’s new era reaching unprecedented heights – The atmosphere around the Ferrari Formula 1 team is at an all-time high. With Lewis Hamilton joining the legendary Scuderia and the highly anticipated SF-25 making its track debut, a wave of excitement has swept through Maranello and beyond. Fans have gathered in droves, hoping to catch a glimpse of the team’s new era unfolding before their eyes.
In the midst of the celebrations, however, one particularly passionate Ferrari supporter took things too far. In a bizarre and reckless attempt to improve his view, the fan was arrested after committing an act that left both the authorities and his fellow Tifosi in disbelief.

A desperate act for a better view
Maranello, the spiritual home of Ferrari, has always been a magnet for die-hard fans. This week, the number of visitors to the private Fiorano test track increased dramatically as both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton took their first laps in the new SF-25. Many spectators strategically positioned themselves to catch a glimpse of the action, but for one fan it was not enough.
Frustrated by the obstructed view, the individual decided to take drastic action by cutting down a tree that was blocking his line of sight. According to reports, the tree, which was several metres high, was in a public area close to the track. The over-zealous Ferrari supporter did not hesitate, and with no apparent regard for legality or environmental impact, he felled the tree in broad daylight.
Unfortunately for him, other fans at the scene captured the entire incident on video. The footage quickly went viral and the authorities were alerted to the unusual act of destruction. Police arrived on the scene, identified the person responsible and arrested him.

Authorities crack down on “public space damage”
Following the incident, local authorities confirmed that the fan had been punished for “damaging nature in a public space”. However, they did not reveal the exact fine or the legal consequences he would face.
Eyewitnesses expressed a mixture of amusement and frustration at the act, with many calling it an unnecessary and extreme display of fandom.
“I understand he wanted to see Hamilton and Leclerc drive, but this was crazy,” said one spectator.
“There are plenty of places to watch without chopping down a tree.”

Leclerc outpaces Hamilton in early SF-25 tests
While the bizarre tree-felling incident grabbed the headlines, more relevant news about Ferrari’s on-track performance emerged from the Fiorano test. According to reports in the Italian and Spanish media, Charles Leclerc was the quicker of the two drivers in their first sessions with the SF-25.
Despite the wet and cold conditions, Leclerc managed a lap time that was surprisingly close to the track record set by Michael Schumacher in his prime. This immediately sparked excitement among Ferrari fans, who hope that the new car will be a competitive force in the 2025 season.
Lewis Hamilton, on the other hand, is said to have had a more difficult time adapting. According to unofficial figures, the seven-time world champion was around 0.8 seconds slower than his Monaco team-mate. However, these figures should be treated with caution as Ferrari have yet to release official test data.

What’s next for Ferrari?
The early performance of the SF-25 has already sparked intense debate. If Leclerc’s pace is indicative of the car’s true potential, Ferrari could finally have a machine capable of consistently challenging for victories.
For Hamilton, these early tests were just the beginning of his adaptation process with Ferrari. The Briton may have been off the pace at first, but his ability to squeeze performance out of any car is well documented. His fans and Ferrari supporters alike are confident that he will find his rhythm in time.
As for the arrested fan, his questionable decision has made him an unexpected viral sensation. While his actions were extreme, they serve as a testament to the sheer passion that Ferrari commands. Whether that passion extends to chopping down trees is another matter.
For now, all eyes remain on Maranello as Ferrari’s new era continues to unfold on and off the track.

At the first ever combined F1 launch in London’s O2 arena, Ferrari’s Fred Vasseur, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton were in perfect harmony. Despite Hamilton claiming he was there to win an eighth title, Leclerc was more diplomatic stating that he and Lewis would be doing their “best for the team.”
Yet how long will the love in between a driver who is desperate to claim his first F1 drivers’ title and the other who desperately wants to beat Michael Schumacher’s total of seven actually last?
Leclerc had told assembled media before the curtain raiser that he believed the Ferrari driver combination would in fact be a good thing. “Something I noticed we have a very similar driving style,” said the Monegasque. “We will need similar things from the car at least. This is my initial feeling,” Leclerc added. “It’s still to be confirmed because we haven’t driven that much together. But the little I’ve seen is that we tend to drive quite, quite similarly.”…..
