Romain Grosjean’s new announcement on a return to F1 – While Romain Grosjean is now racing in Indycar, there is no question of him returning to Formula One.
In Bahrain, Romain Grosjean had escaped the worst after his terrible accident at the wheel of his Haas. Seeing him emerge from the flames was the last image of him on a Formula 1 circuit. Since then, the Frenchman has turned the page and opened a new chapter in Indycar. However, the idea of a return to F1 is often raised for Grosjean. But when asked about this, the main interested party was very clear.
“When people ask me if I want to come back to Formula 1, I say no”
Romain Grosjean said of a return to Formula 1:
“No, I don’t miss Formula 1. You are very limited by what the car can offer and that is not the case in IndyCar. You can change a lot of parts and tune the car as you like. I’m having fun in IndyCar, the fans love me, I’m having fun on the track, my family is here, I’m very happy. (…) In the fast corners, Formula 1 is always unique, it’s fantastic.
“But when people ask me if I want to come back to Formula 1, I say no. I have been driving for ten years. I drove there for ten years and I had my chance.”
