Formula 1 establishes a ranking of the fastest drivers of all time. – With the help of its IT partner AWS (part of Amazon.com), F1 was able to establish a ranking of the fastest drivers of all time.
As part of the 70th anniversary year of Formula 1 championship racing, the Formula 1 championship has been working with AWS, its IT partner, to compare the speeds of drivers across the ages and define an ultimate ranking of the fastest drivers of all time.
Fastest Driver, the latest F1 Insight powered by AWS, is a unique tool that uses machine learning technology to provide an “objective, data-based ranking of all drivers” from 1983 to the present, removing the F1 car differential from the equation.
Drivers are ranked according to their speed during qualifying sessions – the time of the weekend when F1 cars are fastest.
Ayrton Senna is in first place in this ranking ahead of Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton.
The top ten is completed by Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso, Nico Rosberg, Charles Leclerc, Heikki Kovalainen, Jarno Trulli and Sebastian Vettel.

Jarno Trulli in 9th???? Schumacher ahead of Hamilton? Schumacher was’t even that good at Quali.
Sorry but I think Amazon should stick to selling books and stealing people’s data because their F1 skills suck.
Amazon have apparently subtracted 70 years from 2020 and come up with 1983 as the starting point for calculating “the fastest drivers of all time”. Hence the absence of Fangio, Moss et al. FAIL.
