Some days ago, TJ13 reported on the fact that Lewis Hamilton could possibly have contracted COVID-19 over the course of last week when he was pictured with Justin Trudeau’s wife, Sophie – You can read more on that here.
Despite there being no news to confirm or deny that Lewis contracted Corona, nothing has been published from the Hamilton camp to suggest the British Champion is ok or not. And that’s been the case for some time now.
This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing 👊🏾👊🏾 No panic. pic.twitter.com/Lg7HVMZglZ

TJ13 speculated that Hamilton could well be harbouring the virus after an event the British driver shared photo opportunities on the red carpet with Trudeau’s wife and British actor Idris Elba – Both Trudeau and Elba are confirmed positive for Corona.
Hamilton has yet to make any statement after Sophie came down with the Corona Virus late last week.
She tested positive for Covid-19, the virus has an incubation period of at least 5 days. In the picture above, Lewis is clearly visible wih the Prime Ministers wife alongside Elba.
Unfortunately Elba released a statement today explaining he had indeed contracted from another party who had recently been tested positive for virus. He did fail to mention who, but it’s very possible it was from Sophie Trudeau.
If Elba hsa been prudent enough to take himself off to be tested, one would think Hamilton would do likewise. The question is, would he publically admit it?
Elba made his announcement on Monday.
“This morning I tested positive for Covid 19,” he wrote. “I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus.”
“Look, this is serious,” the U.K. actor warned, appearing in a social media video next to his wife, Sabrina.
“Now is the time to really think about social distancing, washing your hands.”
On Monday, U.K. theaters closed after the government said to avoid public venues. Over 1,500 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the U.K. resulting in 55 deaths.
“We live in a divided world right now – we can all feel it,” Elba added. “It’s been bulls–t. But now is the time for solidarity, now is the time for thinking about each other.”
