  1. What a terrible Monaco GP. No passing, except in the pits. What can I say? This was a classic Monaco GP. It’s truly absurd that journalists call it the most important GP of year. British, Italian, and Belgian GPs easily beat this so called most important GP of F1. The great thing now is that Monaco GP is followed by truly exciting GPs.

  2. Monaco has long been about, almost entirely, what happens off the track – the celebs, the party’s, etc. There’s only been two or three memorable races in the last 30 years. If this race was virtually anywhere else in the world it would have been dropped long ago.

    • I totally agree. The organisers should be sued under the Trade Description Act. It hasn’t been a race for a long long time. With the exception of a few drivers hitting the barriers and being removed from contention it is just a procession decided by qualifying places. I would happily see it dropped from the calendar. Or replace the cars with Renault Clios or some such.
