What a difference a year can bring? Last year’s USGP saw Rosberg loose the WDC and the infamous “Cap-Gate” was shown live on TV across the world.

Now, the German is ahead of the Brit by 33 points and seems to have the momentum with him but will he keep his head when last year it was clear he cracked?

Rosberg seems to think not declaring to the German media yesterday that “The sting is gone, I’ve pulled it out.

Austin last year was not a good experience for me, but at the time it made me think a lot. Then I won seven races, and  today it looks like a positive example of how we fight back and stronger from defeat.

I always try to learn from the difficult moments and I rise. I am very proud that I came back even stronger after such difficult times.”

Ironically perhaps Nico is taking a leaf from his team mate’s famous slogan from his hero Tupac?

“Act up if you feel me, I was born not to make it but I did, the tribulations of a ghetto kid, Still I Rise”

  1. Actually Tupac lifted that line from American poet Maya Angelou.
All Nico has to do is finish second in every race, not easy when 2 Red Bulls are breathing down your neck!
