  1. Props to the Telegraph guy for a certain amount of persistence on the crap chief exec. thing.

And on the subject of the Telegraph, this was an interesting snippet from a fairly anodyne piece on Boullier:
The Frenchman will not divulge details but slowly the picture of Honda’s shambles has emerged. As late as last October, just months before pre-season testing in Jerez, half of their hi-tech test beds were not running. The Japanese manufacturer has run this as an HR project, rotating staff rather than building up a group of hardened engines. It also refused to poach experts from Mercedes or Ferrari…

    Slightly shocking.

    • Hmm, not the first time Japanese manufacturers approach F1 from this angle, and screw it up royally, after a colossal overspend. I recall Toyota, when Saint Ross was available to be fished, was just about the only team to not have approached him (incidentally Honda got ‘im). Toyota too refused to take people from outside, promoted mostly from within inside, and relied on staff rotations. We all remember how that ended…

  2. The Matthew Carter incident was hilarious. Lotus are clearly seeking favours with Grandpa Bernie… Recalls me a number of incidents with Bob and Darth Sidious earlier this year…

BTW, pointy questions in this session. Interesting…

  3. The hilarity when Vijay said “un-crap it” was great. Vijay has REALLY REALLY good points in this press conference.

Also Bernie can piss off with all of his ridiculous ideas / comments (-8
