The FIA investigation and its conclusion: The FIA, the governing body of world motorsport, has officially closed its investigation into Mercedes Formula One Team Principal Toto Wolff and his wife Susie Wolff following serious allegations of collusion.

The development follows reports of a potential conflict of interest between Susie Wolff’s role as head of the F1 Academy and Toto Wolff’s position at Mercedes.

 

Toto Wolff’s call for transparency

In light of these events, Toto Wolff has called for “full transparency” regarding the process and conclusions of the investigation. We are currently engaged in an intensive legal exchange with the FIA,” he said, expressing his concerns about the nature of the allegations and the handling of the investigation.

“I have received online abuse about my work and family. I will not allow myself to be intimidated and I intend to pursue the matter further once I find out who instigated this campaign and misled the media,” Susie Wolff announced.

For “two days, allegations have been made about my integrity in public and in background discussions,” said Wolff, who immediately took aim at the motorsport association: “But no one from the FIA ​​has spoken to me directly.”

She may have been “collateral damage in an unsuccessful attack on someone else, or the target of a failed attempt to discredit me personally, but I have worked too hard to have my reputation compromised by an unfounded press release.”
