Ferrari unveils the date of its 2023 F1 car presentation, a revolutionary period after the recent removal of Mattia Binotto, the team boss. The Maranello-based team will present its 2023 car to the world on Valentine’s Day in a live broadcast event. The Project 675 (as it is codenamed) will be driven for the third year running by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. 

Scuderia Ferrari this week became the second team on the grid after Aston Martin to reveal the date of its car for the 2023 season.

The Italian team will unveil its new car to the Tifosi on February 14, 2023, Valentine’s Day, in an event that will of course be broadcast live on the Maranello team’s various social channels. While we already know the date of the presentation, no other details have yet been revealed by Ferrari.

Maranello’s 2023 car will have the tough task of improving on the F1-75 of the 2022 season, which saw Ferrari finish second in the constructors’ championship ahead of Mercedes. Ferrari has been chasing a world title for the first time since 2008. All of this just after a huge change with Binotto stepping aside. 

Sainz on the revolution at Ferrari

Things are moving internally at Ferrari. Mattia Binotto has become a casualty and has been dismissed as ex-director of Ferrari and Frédéric Vasseur has taken his place. A huge change for next season. While many waits to see what this will mean, Carlos Sainz Jr has spoken out about this revolution.

Ferrari will present itself in 2023 with a new face in the paddock. After the departure of Mattia Binotto, the Scuderia has announced the arrival of Frédéric Vasseur as the Swiss-Italian’s replacement. Carlos Sainz Jr also paid tribute to Binotto.

“Mattia meant a lot to me during my first two years at Ferrari”

Carlos Sainz wanted to return to the departure of Mattia Binotto. The Spanish driver spoke of a personal decision on the part of Binotto, to whom he wanted to pay tribute.

“At the end of the day, it’s his decision and I can only wish him the best. Mattia meant a lot to me in my first two years at Ferrari. He listened to me and trusted me. Ferrari is also in a better position because of him.”

“I think Vasseur’s relationship with Charles is also good for the team”

Carlos Sainz then spoke about the relationship between Charles Leclerc and Frédéric Vasseur. According to him, the relationship between the two men can only be positive for Ferrari.

“It’s not as if I’m starting from scratch at Ferrari, arriving and having to find my place. I think I get on well with Fred and he will be happy with me when he sees me at work.

“And to answer the speculators, I think his relationship with Charles is also good for the team. It may make him feel more comfortable with the team sooner.”
