Perez huge rant

Sergio Perez, who finished third a fortnight ago in front of his home crowd at the Formula 1 Mexican Grand Prix, has high ambitions for this race weekend and is ready to win the Brazilian Grand Prix if Max Verstappen is not at his best.

But in qualifying his momentum was halted by the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc, whose tactics he does not understand.

Sergio Perez will start the sprint race from 9th on the grid. He was hoping for a better performance but was slowed down by Charles Leclerc who made a mistake with a poor tyre choice and resulted in him losing control. Due to the red flag, Perez did not get a second chance and will have to settle for ninth place. The pill did not go down well and he sent a huge swipe at Ferrari.

“I don’t know what Leclerc and Ferrari were doing”.

Sergio Perez was irritated by Charles Leclerc’s poor decision and was very irritated.

“It was bad luck. I don’t know what the hell Leclerc and Ferrari were doing, it was very clear that he was too slow on the intermediates on the exit lap,

“I thought he was going to stop, it was pretty obvious to me that he was going to stop and put the slicks on, but he just stayed in front of me on track! I did my lap just behind him and unfortunately I lost too much.”

“I’m super disappointed with the result”

Without a doubt, Max Verstappen’s teammate plans to set the record straight in the sprint race. Perez is not giving up and is showing his ambitions.

“A top three finish should have been possible today, but unfortunately we have to start in ninth place. I am very disappointed with the result. We will try to make up some places tomorrow and we will try to get into the Sprint points”, he announced.
