Vettel retirement plans

Sebastian Vettel’s season with Aston Martin has not been the easiest, but the German is not planning to stop anytime soon, in fact it appears Vettel F1 retirement plans are not on the cards just yet.

Currently, the Formula 1 circus’ questions are mainly about Lewis Hamilton’s future. Following his failure against Max Verstappen, the Mercedes driver has disappeared from the radar, to the point that some people are talking about a possible retirement.

A retirement that could also concern Sebastian Vettel. The German has just finished his first season with Aston Martin, but it was not so easy with a poor season for the team compared to the previous season. Could the 34-year-old driver decide to hang it up?

Sebastian Vettel sent a very clear message about his future this week. The Aston Martin driver made it clear that he is not thinking about retirement:

“Of course, sometimes you can ask yourself questions. I would be a liar if I said that it hasn’t crossed my mind. (…)

“If I don’t have the ambition or the motivation to succeed, if I continue to drive for money, that would be a betrayal of the generation coming after us who dream of driving. The flame in me is still burning.”
