Powerful message about Sebastian Vettel’s future

Former Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo believes that Sebastian Vettel, who is free of any contract at the end of the season, should remain with the Italian team.

With the resumption of the new Formula One World Championship, Sebastian Vettel is considering his future. Indeed, the German will be coming to the end of his contract with Ferrari at the end of this season, and there are many questions about the rest of his career.

 

Luca di Montezemolo gives his opinion on the future of the 32-year-old driver and the ex-president of the Italian team expects to see Vettel sign a new contract to assist Charles Leclerc, proven by the remarkable statement: “Vettel’s presence on the team would also be useful to Leclerc.”

 

“Seb is still very fast. He has a lot of experience and I don’t think he’s in a crisis of motivation.

“Moreover, his presence in the team would also be useful to Leclerc, who is very talented but who still needs to confirm his presence at the top after a splendid season. 

“He will, therefore, have more pressure on his shoulders this year.

It would be a season that would go down in Formula One history because of its unique aspect. I hope it will be possible to launch the championship soon, but it’s the same with our Serie A: any recovery will be done with a guarantee of safety and behind closed doors,” explains Luca di Montezemolo.
