Just 20 minutes ago, Liberty Media and FIA have announced their vision for Formula 1 in 2021 – F1 for the future has been declared a ‘sustainable’ formula, certainly in terms of economically. 

Whether the teams actually go for this remains to be seen, with both Mercedes and Red Bull already declaring that they will not sign up to the new 2021 regulations (read more on that here), rather push for a year delay to better clarify the new rule set.

The Formula 1 rules for 2021 will be presented on Thursday, it’s expected that they will be vetoed immediately by the bigger teams in F1.

Halloween will be celebrated today in many parts of the western world, of course also in Austin/Texas, the location of this weekend’s F1 Grand Prix. However, many Formula 1 teams are expected to horrified, without the need for a zombie costume and a pumpkin lantern.
