Leaked: Kvyat & Albon 2019 Toro Rosso race suits

Another ‘leak’ doing the rounds since last night we saw Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc’s 2019 race suit shared on social media by a hapless Ferrari fan on Twitter.

This time Toro Rosso’s 2019 driver photos have emerged again, on social media. And if these are correct, they hint that Toro Rosso won’t be changing their livery colours drastically for the race car due to be revealed next week.

When comparing the suit colours from last year, we might find the primary blue colour has been darkened down from the metallic look of 2017 and 2018.

Let me know your thoughts on the driver line up but also the colours of Toro Rosso in the comments below.

TJ13 wonders if the new car could look a little like the Sean Bull design from January 2018.

Daniil Kvyat’s manager says 2019 is his last chance to succeed in Formula 1

Daniil Kvyat is getting his final chance to succeed in Formula 1 says the Russian’s new manager Nicolas Todt.

Daniil had been dropped by the Red Bull programme after stints at Toro Rosso and Red Bull Racing then spent 2018 as a Ferrari simulator driver.

“In F1, it’s always difficult to get a second chance,” says Todt.

“He wanted to understand what happened and did a great job on the Ferrari simulator,

“His situation reminds me of the return of Felipe Massa to Sauber in 2004. Two years later he was at Ferrari with Michael Schumacher.

“I don’t want to indulge in dreams, but Daniil is a talented driver and a good athlete, not forgetting about cultural development. He reads Tolstoy and Dostoevsky. This is a very intelligent and self-analytical person,”

“He returns to F1 less emotional and more mature.

“It is clear that he needs to achieve results, but he also understands how important this chance is and that he will not get another one,” Todt added.
