The teams tyre selections are in for the Chinese Grand Prix, which promises to give us some variety in the strategies of the front runners. Ferrari have opted to take 8 sets of ultrasofts for both of their drivers and only 3 sets of softs, while the Mercedes have hedged their bets with a more equal balance of ultrasoft (6) and soft (6 for Hamilton, 5 for Bottas) , while this time around Valtteri Bottas will have the extra set of mediums to work with. Red Bull will take 7 ultrasofts and have an extra set of softs over Ferrari.
