Some interest in the mid field (and over the radio…), but overwhelmingly not exactly a highlight of a race.
For the race at the front, I guess it deserves no more than 3, because the race was done at Turn 1.
In midfield and at the back, there was good racing, especially towards the end, so I would give a 7. Special mention should go to Alonso for venting his feelings live on-air :), so I give it an extra point to make it 6 out of 10.
I gave it a 3 too. Yesterday’s Xfinity NASCAR race was far more exciting. I would have done the dishes and the laundry during the race, but it was already done.
Even though the hamfosi’s were triumphant today, the race at the front was over after T1/2. There however was some interesting battles in the midfield and listening to Alonso squealing over the radio was quite entertaining.
Sure the Honda power unit is crap, but how he disrespected the team was typical of what a twat he is. I’m wondering if Ron and Honda are now regretting bringing him back into the team. Greatest driver of his generation my fcuking ar$e!!!

Real samurai’s dont bring training weapons to a battle.
Maybe they gave him training weapons because every time they gave him the real thing, he turns around and use it on his own people.
4.62… rounded up to 5.
I don’t even know. I can’t even. It’s just, *sigh*, whatever.
Yeah.
I don’t know.
Nice to see the Suzuka circuit.
Start was good, Ham muscling Ros.
But…
Yeah.
Nah.
Bye.
I was entertained and with additional bonus for being Suzuka, I gave it a 9
Far be it for me to challenge an opinion. I mean, opinions are like arseholes; we’ve all got one. I respect that.
But… 9?
It’s out of 10; so a near perfect F1 experience for you?
*”from, not “for”. Silly me. English isn’t my native language… whinging is.
Sushi train in Suzuka. Whodathunk?
And it seems the only reason that Fred and Jense might hang around at McLaren next year is for the company cars.
F1 is in great shape :/
somewhere between a 4 and a 5 at the very best. the race was again ‘a hollow victory’ for mercedes. they are simply racing mercedes and that is not what i pay foxtel to watch. getting quite fed up really.
I see no race between the silver cars – just Nico being pwnd over and over again. MB gave him a mongrel-ectomy after Spa last year – boredom has ensued ever since (not that it was very compelling prior to that).
LOL, it was a great race between the Arrows…… All the way to the exit of turn 2 on the first lap,, hahaha!! You’re correct, tho, not getting the battles we deserve due to Merc stage managing strategy. I think that’s the biggest factor, given the aero issues this year.
Six. Good to have f1 on the telly. That’s all…
Some good midfield action. Worth watching, but that’s it. 6/10
Snooze-fest of the highesto order. I’m disappointed I got up at 5am to watch the coverage. Only young Max punctuated the boredom, along with Fernando venting his frustration over the airwaves.
Role on Russia, that’s set to be a thrilling race………Not!
I didn’t bother watching it live, or the repeat. I ran it up on iPlayer, switched off after 15 laps preferring to sort out my sock drawer and rearrange my surplus coat hangers. I’m just about through with F1 after >50 years. Thank goodness for MotoGP, WSBK, BSB and the TT.
I heard that the Mercedes gang are complaining about insufficient TV coverage! What a horrible mob they are; someone should start checking the ecu software in their road cars – with a bit of luck they’re hiding some cheat-ware that, when revealed, will torpedo their F1 efforts.
There’s a lot of, “didn’t watch the race…” rhetoric…. I suppose 1 team, 1 driver winning all the time is a turn off.
