Gave it a six. Have seen better, have seen worse.
Good race after Lewis, but why no penalties for cutting the corner at Raidaillon?
Not only there but coming out of stavelot many of them did it as well.
True – but they made a highlight of Raidillon with a stunning camera angle and lots of sci-fi.
Fairly good in my opinion, not a classic but very watchable.
Nothing doing at the front (as usual), but some interesting overtaking, if not all done 100% within track limits (that seems to be ok now again). Battles there to be seen anyway, Alonso overtaking Ericcson my highlight for the novelty factor (maybe I dreamed that one though).
7 for me.
7.
Neither great, nor terrible. A nice return from the break; a decent race in the context of ’14/’15 seasons. Despite the win (or 2nd) never in question, there was some decent action. I enjoyed the element of unassisted race starts.
A meme that sums up Nico’s weekend; when being slow doesn’t really matter…
…but perhaps it also highlights Mercedes’ continued impact on F1. Such is life in F1 right now.
I’m happy with Hamilton winning but objectively there wasn’t much in the race, at least at the front. In midfield there was some good racing, and some strange incidents like Bottas’ tyre incident and Vettel’s tyre blow-up (guess no matter how easy the car is on the tyres, the Pirellis eventually just shred). The good surprise was from Lotus, with Grosjean finishing third. After all their troubles from last year, they deserve a good result like this. I gave it a 5, the race watchable but also fairly predictable.
I started thinking: what if FOM watches these kind of polls?
So I voted 10. What a track it is!

The race was entertaining – which it is always.
