The podcast shed is full again and Spanners is happy… like really happy! Joining him this week is our resident American Mattpt55, project manager John, Social Media guy (not very social) Craig and rounding the panel off is the Earl of Huntley-Jacobs, our Editor in Chief AJ.

This week we answer the question “What is your new years resolution” and we also take a look at the F1 regulations, yes you heard that right. We then do a quick review of the Formula E race that was held in Buenos Aires this past weekend.

No band this week but we’ll have them back soon. Have a listen and let us know what you think and what you want.

  1. Predictable nitpick here: Vettel would have had the neccessary points and time for a Superlicense. Danny RIC however had not 😉

Five of the 2015 drivers would not have gotten the Superlicense at the time of their debut due to lack of points and/or years in openwheelers:

    – Daniel Ricciardo (38 pts)
    – Jenson Button (5 pts)
    – Kimi Räikkönen (10 pts, only 1 year in single seaters)
    – Max Verstappen (20 pts, only 1 year in single seaters)
    – Marcus Ericson (24 pts)

Contrary to AJ’s claim, Alonso (50 pts) and Vettel (45 pts) would have gotten the Superlicense without problems. So, interestingly would have Maldonado (88 pts). The ‘not even a question’ award goes to Lewis Hamilton (103 pts) and Nico Hülkenberg (150 pts).
