Welcome to another week of TheJudge13 Bar Exam. This week the Bar Exam returns to normality… well I’m not propping up my eyelids as was the case last week when I did this therefore, at the bottom of this quiz you should see the familiar entry box.
Last Week’s Question(s): In the images below is a car that a previous world champion drove. Can you name the constructor and model of the car below. Also, a young driver that was to become a world champion drove this car, who was he and in what season did he drive this car?
The answer(s) I was looking for were: The constructor was Lotus who designed the Lotus 102B for the 1991 season. Despite having over 800 new components incorporated the new car was not sufficiently different from the 102 to justify a new type designation.
The car’s heavy and ultimately unreliable Lamborghini engine was replaced by the Judd EV V8 and the driver line-up was also changed. Mika Häkkinen and Julian Bailey filled the seats vacated by a frustrated Derek Warwick and injured Martin Donnelly. It was apparent that the car was nowhere near the pace setters of the McLaren MP4-6 and the Williams FW14 at the opening round in Phoenix. Häkkinen would go on to describe that during this race his steering wheel actually came off.
The 102B enabled the team to equal their 1990 points total of three points.
Well done to Danilo who got it right first and thanks for everyone taking part in a sporting and funny way.
This week’s question(s): Can you name the constructor and the model of the car below. Can you also name all the drivers that drove the car and the total amount of constructors points scored by this model, obviously driven by the drivers.
