The Bar Exam: 04 April 2013

Welcome to another TheJudge13 Bar Exam. I honestly thought that it would be a difficult one last week and although only one person got everything correct a number of readers got the circuit, car and Grand Prix correct!

Last week’s question: Name the driver, car, circuit and Grand Prix the picture was taken at.

The answer I was looking for was: The driver was Joakim Bonnier driving the Cooper-Maserati T86 at the Nordschleife during the 1967 German Grand Prix.

Well done to Iliyan who got it correct!

This week’s question: In the picture below the car/driver combination has yet to win a race. In what year and at which circuit did this happen for the first time?

  1. I don’t agree. Bonnier didn’t run a T86 at the Nurburgring, the T86 wth the later Maser V12 was works only for Rindt at the Ring and I don’t think the Bonnier team ever ran a T86. It’s a Rob Walker T81 with Jo Siffert driving. Check out the Rob Walker colours, the white ring around the nose.
