  1. I rooted for him:
    1) the first racer that I ever supported in 2008
    2) his last race
    3) he is a great driver
    4) he will be missed
    5) he chased wheel-to-wheel with Hamilton then Alonso
    6) he is a class of his own

    • Webber is an epic character. F1 will lose a bit w/ his departure… Sport needs humanistic personalities like Webber. You could imagine having a pint w/ him at your local and him not being a douche…

  2. I voted for Perez.
Outqualified his more experienced team mate again
Had a gearbox penalty and car rebuild to overcome
    Moved from 19th to 6th – 13places!!
Kept Rosberg honest lap after lap after lap.

  3. Max Chilton – a putty medal from me for bringing the car home again in what was an unbroken record of no retirements throughout the season!

    • The thing with Chilton is he was never in danger of being taken out by anyone else because he never had to race anyone. All he had to do was check his mirrors and get out of the way when he saw someone coming.

The fact that he never had a mechanical just means he never drove the car to the limit (IMHO)

    • Not really Joe – that was a mistake on my part but when I realised it the poll was live already and I could not change it… I’ll take that as a vote for Heiki then 😛
