  1. Thought it was very exciting.
Funny how Horner’s prediction of late race drama came true.
I don’t think that was what he had in mind though.

  2. Great British Grand Prix. Shame Lewis has cheapened his impressive recovery drive with ill-considered comments regarding the authenticity of Kimi and Seb’s recent racing incidents. Such flippant accusations reflects badly on Hamilton, and even worse on Toto Wolff ( who should know better than to give credence to such inflammatory post-race outbursts ), and also bring the sport into disrepute – witness the press reporting on a supposed conspiracy when they should be writing about a hugely entertaining race, a remarkable run by Hamilton from the back of the field, and, the real story of the race, why the defending World Champion had such a terrible start.

    • Just saw Lewis retract his post race sentiments. Fair play. Toto should still have known better, though. (and don’t get me started on James Allison…)

  3. Great race albeit aided by an excessively lengthy safety car period. AMG Mercedes needs a new race strategist. New soft tires were a tremendous advantage compared to their worn mediums. Did they not learn that from the Chinese GP where Red Bull were streets ahead of them and Ferrari.
As for Toto’s post race comments what a joke. Lose with class even though that may be hard for the almighty AMG Mercedes Benz team.
After 4 seasons of single team dominance, nice to see a real slug fest between 2 great teams/drivers.
