Red Bull Racing blasts Hamilton after F1 revolution – Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has slammed 7 time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton’s behaviour this winter, blaming him for Michael Masi’s departure.
After a thrilling season, Lewis Hamilton lost the title on the last lap of the Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. It was a disappointment that he found hard to take and which caused him to remain silent for many weeks, to the point of casting doubt on his future in Formula 1.
At the same time, the FIA has made huge changes, starting with the departure of Michael Masi, F1’s race director, who was heavily criticised for his handling of the safety car regime in Abu Dhabi. And for Helmut Marko, Red Bull’s advisor and head of the young drivers’ programme, Lewis Hamilton is responsible for the departure.

“There were clear indications that Hamilton would not stop driving because there was no movement in the driver market,” explains Marko,
“If Hamilton had informed Mercedes that he would stop, they would have started looking for a replacement and it would have been quickly discovered. However, this was not the case. Or maybe it was not noticeable.
“By his silence, Lewis wanted to show his dissatisfaction with the situation and the decisions. This behaviour, or at least part of it, led to Masi’s dismissal. I don’t think that’s fair.
“You have to look at his performance over the years. If Masi had had everything the FIA is now going to have at his disposal, it would have been easier for him to decide, with a video referee and an advisor at his side.
“Michael Masi has just been sacrificed for all that,” concludes Marko.

That is some post Duckey, it is without a doubt that black people make extraordinary sportsman from Ali to Pele, it’s in your DNA. There are extraordinary white people too like Hawking, Einstein etc.. but in sports we can’t compete. The cross breeding question which would have been seen as offensive decades ago is now so acceptable that many black friends of mine are married to white women. I know a guy who came over from Nigeria at sixteen with nothing more than a determination to succeed. When we interviewed him there were better qualified candidates but he stood out and now 25 years later he is very successfully with a large family and one of the nicest guys I know, except that he is a Liverpool fan. I don’t know that there is any agenda as all most black people have sought is parity with white people, which is happening. Lewis had so much put in his way because of his colour but his ability got him where he is and which is why he is so passionate about BLM. I find racism one of the most offensive of human traits and on my travels I’ve been to the American deep south a few times where black people are still treated as inferior which as an outsider is hard to see. Marko is still a waste of breathing air and everyone wishes he keeps his idiotic thoughts to himself but he will continue to peddle rubbish it’s what he does. This may not be one of the most valid of racing posts but it is a definitely worth speaking about.

Not my finest moment but I realised it wasn’t you when he did two more posts that were pretty shocking and clearly someone with a problem. The first post though was much more low key and actually made a good point on something I care about. Even today Black people don’t get a fair deal and I have many friends who are black that still experience it. If you ever get to go to USA deep south, they haven’t changed their approach in centuries. So, my wife wants me to give up posting on this site as this sort of thing bothers her, so maybe I’ll just stick to Facebook.
