Seb will leave, Lance will get the push, heartbreak is coming for Mick

For the 2022 Formula 1 season, TJ13 turns toward its resident F1 fan and practitioner of Tarot cards for her thoughts on the up and coming Formula One season ahead. Who is your favourite driver, and will they have a good season? Answers could be explained below… Certainty it appears that the worst will be for Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll at Aston Martin Racing along with Mick Schumacher.

About @reefgirl3 – A Tarot reading knitter, with a love of cooking and loud music. I love my garden, my daughter and my partner, I love science fiction especially Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Star Trek, Star Wars and Babylon 5. I’m a big fan of F1, Wintersports and Cycling. In other words I’m an all round geek.

Lewis Hamilton – The Star

On the card, Sansa Stark lights a candle in the Broken Tower at Winterfell.

This is a Major Arcana card; it’s present make the information it’s giving have a large impact on your life.

This card is all about hope, peace and renewal. After last season and the last race this card is offering a fresh start and optimism, trust in the changing nature of the universe, as the words of the Mama’s and Papa’s say, “The Darkest Hour is Just Before Dawn” The worst is now over, it’s time to follow the light back and start again.

George Russell – The Magician

On the card, Petyr ‘Littlefinger’ Baelish stands in his brothel, behind him, on a shelf, are the 4 symbols of the suits in a deck of Tarot cards. Also present is a Raven, the necklace he used to frame Sansa for the death of Joffrey, the Valyrian steel dagger used to try and kill Bran Stark and a letter, all the things that kept Littlefinger in power for so long.

This is also a Major Arcana card so it has great importance in your life.

The Magician is all about power, it is the key to taking control and the potential to make things happen according to your wishes, you have all the elements and more at hand to make this happen to make magic happen for you. You need to start gathering all your resources together to meet your goals, stay focused on your goals, let the universe guide you and take advantage of the good fortune around you to manifest your dreams. But be warned, the Magician is also a trickster that cannot be trusted, use the magic for good and don’t let your ambition overwhelm your sensibilities, remember what happened to Littlefinger, his hubris was used to overthrow him.

Max Verstappen – The Devil

On the card, Ramsey Bolton stands in a dungeon with chains around and in front of him, two torches are alighted behind him.

Yet another Major Arcana card

The Devil is a card of restriction, being chained to a way of life that is not good for you, addiction, limitations and deception.

After Abu Dhabi perhaps you’re not feeling as chipper as you should be, but now you are world champion you’re feeling that you are chained to the controversy surrounding the race and that will define your championship. But now is the time to break those chains and show the world, you are a racer, you’re not a one trick pony and you can race and win without ‘Help’ Let go of Abu Dhabi and break free from the controversy and show the world you are a champion.

Sergio Perez – Eight of Coins

On the card, a smith is at work in a forge making metal shields, each of the eight is in a different state of completion.

The suit of coins represents the element of earth, this in turn shows us career, money, material possessions and family.

This is a card of working hard to become a master of your profession. It’s saying you need to work hard and diligently to complete your project. You need to iron out all the niggling little mistakes from last year and refine your skills so you can build on lessons learned from the past.

Daniel Ricciardo – Ace of Spears

On the card, a spear pierces the sun, the sigil for Dorne, wrapped around the spear is a snake.

The suit of spears represents the element of fire, which shows spirit, passion, creativity and pizzazz.

All Aces show the spark of an idea or the beginning of something, in this case it’s a burst of creative energy that needs to be nurtured, a source of inspiration will strike you and you need to grasp it and look for the opportunities for it to flourish.

Lando Norris – Ace of Cups

On the card, the wedding cup given to Margaery Tyrell and King Joffrey on their wedding day.

The suit of cups represents the element of water, which shows intuition and emotions.

As has been said before, Aces represent beginnings and seeds that need to be nurtured. A chance to make a new emotional start. Last year was a year of lost opportunities which left you a bit drained, so maybe it’s time to use your intuition, tune into your higher self, all racers have a heightened sense of intuition, let yours guide you and let your emotions out when you need to, scream and shout if you need to, don’t bottle things up for the sake of the team.

Charles Leclerc – Six of Swords

On the card, Arya Stark is rowed across the harbour in Braavos to the House of Black and White to begin her Faceless Man training.

The suit of Swords represents the element of air, this shows logic, thought, communication and challenges.

This a card of transition, healing and moving on. Last year was disappointing, you were outshone by your teammate, you were supposed to be the number one driver and it stung that he was better than you in the car, but now it’s time to move on and heal the disappointment from last year, transform yourself, gain new perspective from last year, to help you come to terms with what went wrong and use that to rebuild yourself back to where you can take control again.

Carlos Sainz – King of Swords

On the card, the Night King stands armed with a scimitar in the Fist of the First Men.

This is a Court Card it can represent people as well as situations.

This is a card of a mature, analytical, calm intellect and professionalism. Be assertive and aggressive during this season, you are not just a seat warmer for Mick Schumacher now, after last year you have shown you have grown into the ideal team driver, top point scorer and out driven your teammate on several occasions, you have proved yourself worthy of a place in the team, now you need to back it up with clear thinking, a logical outlook and commitment. Don’t be drawn into any of Them verses Us fall outs, this King is ethical and fair, he seeks justice so be aware of this before wading into any disagreements between teams.

Fernando Alonso – Seven of Spears

On the card, an Unsullied soldier leaps into action to defend himself against his attackers.

This card is all about defence, defending yourself, your views, your faith and anything else that is precious to you. There are forces working against you, possibly your team mate, those in authority who think that you’re past it and they need a younger driver in your seat, you need to go out and prove that you are capable of doing the job and defend your position in the team, prove that you are worthy and you won’t go quietly.

Esteban Ocon – Ten of Coins

On the card, a table full of food sits in front of a backdrop decorated with ten coins bearing the flower sigil of House Tyrell.

This is a card of physical security, it says you have achieved your lot in life and it’s time to enjoy, but is it? You have made it, you’ve won a race you’re not going to be sacked, yet anyway, but don’t sit on those laurels, Fernando is sitting there, snapping at your heels waiting for complacency to set in, you have to look at the past, see how the drivers of old worked, use their skills to show your teammate who’s the best.

Pierre Gasly – Ten of Cups

On the card, ten candles are lit in the crypt at Winterfell.

This is a card of family values, a happy home, emotional connections and peace.

To me this card is saying, stay where you are, you are happy in this team, you have been here a long time and this is your family, they understand you and vice versa. Yes everyone is saying “Pierre should go to the main team” but last time that didn’t go too well did it? No, this card is saying resist the temptation to move on, this is the place where you are happiest, where you do your best work and where you feel fulfilled, you don’t need to go anywhere else.

Yuki Tsunoda – Four of Coins

On the card, an official from the Iron Bank of Braavos sits behind his desk, his hands rest on two coins and two more are above him.

This is a card of security and control, you are secure in your position, for now but you don’t want to take any risks. Last year was a bit of a nightmare, a lot of rookie mistakes were made, which you need to learn from. You need to hold on tightly to what you have here, there are many other young drivers from Japan who would happily take your seat from you at a moments notice and Red Bull are notorious for dumping drivers who don’t perform. What this card is saying, you think your position is safe here but don’t get complacent, control you recklessness and start to hold on to what you do have.

Lance Stroll – Five of Swords

On the card, Bran Stark is shown surrendering Winterfell to Theon Greyjoy and the Iron Fleet

This is a card of defeat, self-defeat and the feeling of being attacked.

You have to ask yourself, is it worth fighting for anymore, is a win worth the cost now. You have to admit, you’d be no where near F1 if your dad had bought you a seat then bought a team for you to continue racing in, it’s time to admit, you just haven’t got what it takes to be in this sport any more. Winning is not that important right now, proving you have what it takes to be in this sport, everyone, including you, knows you just haven’t got the talent, admitting that and stepping down is a brave thing, but continuing to be an embarrassment to the team, you’re better than that and in your heart you know that.

Sebastian Vettel – Eight of Cups

On the card, Jon Snow walks away from Castle Black after his death and resurrection. Above the gate are eight tankards, one row of four, one row of three on top and one on it’s own to the side.

This is a card of letting go and moving on.

It’s saying it’s time to just walk away, it’s a painful decision but life is feeling disjointed and out of sync, not level. It’s time to give yourself some space, decide what is best for you. The disappointments are beginning to become tiresome,, no matter how hard you try you cannot reclaim those Red Bull glory days, so maybe it’s time to accept the inevitable and just move on to something you want to do, maybe time to become a full-time activist, follow your heart.

Valtteri Bottas – The Tower

On the card, Summer, the direwolf sits at the bottom of the tower that Bran was pushed from, she is looking up at the sun setting.

This is a Major Arcana card and is an important step in this cycle.

This is a card of shock and chaos, destruction and the questioning of your beliefs. Well this is quite a comedown, from the front of the grid to the back, the walls of your career have certainly fallen to rubble around your ears but the foundations are strong, so this card is saying it’s a chance to rebuild those walls again. This season is a new start, you’re no longer Lewis’ fall guy or the Mercedes lap dog, you can rebuild your career and work for yourself, not having to take orders from anyone, because your teammate needs the points more than you, this time, it’s all about you and your needs.

Guanyu Zhou- Ten of Spears

On the card, a serf is carrying ten lances on his shoulders, he’s been left to clear up after a tournament.

This is a card of burdens, responsibility and obligation. We all know you have been given the seat because of the Chinese money invested in the team and you were a bargaining chip and that is a big responsibility to rest on a young pair of shoulders. This card is saying, you don’t have to bear that responsibility yourself, it’s perfectly ok to ask for help or to tell your sponsors to give you some space and let you deal with things in your own way. Don’t let the chains of “You’re only in this sport because your sponsors paid for your to get a seat” drag you down, as it has for so many pay drivers, you may need to seek help from others that are in this situation, talking it over will shed some of that baggage.

Alex Albon – Three of Coins

On the card, a partially built Sept is seen on the hillside, the windows are already in place and the frame is complete.

This is a card of teamwork, planning and contribution.

Plans are coming together, a team is being built, the right people are in the right place to get you plan off the ground, you are starting again so you need to put everything you learned in Red Bull into your new team, share everything with your new team to ensure that you have everything that is needed to get you up and running smoothly.

Nicholas Latifi – Knight of Coins

On the card, Brienne of Tarth sits on a black horse holding a gold coin in her hand.

This is a card of stability, loyalty and dependability.

You are a safe pair of hands, careful in your approach to things but you also have the ability to get caught u in the minute detail of things that progress halts, which can also have its negative effects, you can be seen as tame, slow and boring. Maybe it’s time for you to shine, you have been in George’s shadow for a long time, it’s possibly time to shake of that ‘dependable’ tag and get yourself some glory.

Mick Schumacher – Three of Swords

On this card are three swords, Longclaw, Heartsbane and Widow’s Wail piercing the Lord of Light’s flaming heart sigil of Stannis Baratheon. Against a snowy sky.

This is a card of Heartbreak, sorrow and betrayal.

Loss is also a big part of this card; I have no idea what this loss is going to be but it will break your heart. I’m thinking maybe a big mistake or a serious of silly misfortune and bad races will lead to “Well you’re not your father’s son are you?” being aimed at you. It won’t be easy to be optimistic or rebuild yourself after such rebukes, but sacrifice is also a major part of this card. Maybe it’s time to stop being the Son of Michael Schumacher and become MICK Schumacher, yes Mick makes mistakes, Mick is not perfect but Mick is Mick, not Michael, stop trying to live up to your father’s reputation and start building your own legacy.

Nikita Mazepin – Four of Spears

On the card, Princess Mycella and Prince Trystane walk in the Water Garden in Sunspear towards a flowered arbour erected on the path.

This is a card of celebrating your accomplishments.

It’s time for a celebration, what for I don’t know, but perhaps it’s time to start appreciating the small things in life, celebrate the fact you’re in this sport, celebrate the fact you kept the car going in a straight line all weekend. Life doesn’t have to be all work and no play, take some time to remember to be thankful for what you have got and enjoy life itself, not just what your father’s money has bought for you.

    • The Judge 13 author is another bitter anti Astin Martin person who obviously lost a lot of money under the IPO when Palmer was in charge. You need to get up to date…Stroll has now rescued both the F1 team and AML from bankruptcy and saved lots of jobs. Both organisations are on a journey to great success. Stop trying to undermine Stroll and Aston Martin.

  1. What in the world is this😂, not the type of journalism that’ll help increase the websites credibility. It’s like my 7 year old wrote a few paragraphs for English class
