  1. I Don’t want to vote. Pretty boring race Or did I miss something?

I mean come on Rosberg you followed him all race to give up with 3 laps to go.

    • Did you expect him to do anything differently? He has been doing that all season.

  2. Gave it an 8. If the Mercedes boys could battle between themselves it would have gotten even more. But I enjoyed myself.

    • My worry is the team messing with them competing – told Rosberg brake issues… Lewis fuel…

Should stop giving the drivers this info.

Give em a fuel gage and a list of temperature readings…

      • Yet they still ended up forty seconds clear of anyone else. Too bad Vettel started from the back. He would have been the only one capable of making this look like a race. Kimi, sadly, is ready for retirement. (Vivian will kill me for that one)

        • Was it Kimi’s fault that he spun or has it actually been confirmed that it was a fault of the car?

          • No word yet. But does it really matter? His team mate started from 18th, had a botched pitstop, finished right behind him, and closed the gap from eleven to eight seconds on older soft tyres against Kimi’s fresher supersofts. His weekend was abysmal. It says something that he was the last driver to finally manage to outqualify his team mate and it needed a catastrophic failure on Vettel’s car to achieve that.

          • @FH ok. I really was expecting more of Kimi this year and he has been quite disappointing to say the least. Whether it’s to do with his age or whatever, he’s lost some speed that seems to be clear, but I can’t help get frustrated when he under-performs as he and vettel should be fighting it out.

  3. The realisation of how poor the Honda PU actually is in all areas it seems put a massive downer on the race today. Gave it a 5 for the midfield battles

  4. Gave it a 5 – so much potential but no substance. Would have liked to see some proper racing.. edge of the seat stuff but no. Rosberg never really had a chance imho. Every time he got close to Hamilton he dropped back again. I would put money on it that it was because of the dirty air affecting downforce and brakes.

  5. An 8, plenty of action, only due to the mixed up grid though. Great battle between Alonso and Button for moaning on the radio, Alonso nailed Button this week 🙂 Great to see so many Sauber fans trackside waving their blue flags non stop! Oh and Stevens radio when Grosjean cut across him, classic, worth a bonus point 😀

    • And that coming from a man who never even came close to the top step of the podium, even in cars that Schumacher won with. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black…

      • Now be fair, Brundle was never able to get such a close view of Schumi’s rear wing 😛

        • Oh, he did – once – in Hungary when he rammed his car right into it sending Schumacher into the wall when it fell off 😉

      • If you’re going to claim Martin Brundle doesn’t know what he’s talking about, could you please give us your F1 CV so that I can compare your knowledge and ability with Martins.
        TIA.

        • Why do I need an F1 CV to point out Brundle’s utterly unprofessional conduct? Mocking a driver who has a CV that makes his own look like that of Deletraz is simply laughable. Brundle has not a single win, not a single pole, not even a single fastest lap. Rosberg has all of those in double digit numbers. It was a nationalistic snipe and I think it is unworthy of someone, who wants to be a TV expert and commentator. Not even Lauda stoops that low and he would have the Palmares to afford it.

          • By the same standards, you’re not in any position to make any comments whatever about any driver. Martin Brundle is a commentator and pundit. It’s his job to say things to make people think. Lauda employs Rosberg, he’s not going to say anything about Rosberg in public, so there’s no point in throwing him into this discussion.

  6. 7 and 8
7 because of the race which was fairly entertaining, 8 because of the track. (And because I’m always afraid FOM checks these polls and use them to negotiate another classic away ;-))

  7. Fuel regs (sorry to disagree TJ13), MBZ interfering (re:managing) w/ the racing of their 2 drivers, cars too easy to drive (Wall of Champions is now tamed), gutless wonder Honda power units – all equal a pretty lack-luster race. Give it a 4: poor beat, lousy pace, can’t dance to it. Massa’s overtake, and his and Vettels’ drives from the back are the only things that saved this from being a total snooze-a-palooza. #poorALOandBUT

  8. In 2017, F1 cars will be harder to drive. If they stopped using Pirelli cheese tyres now and replaced them with tyres that could be pushed for their whole life, be it 20, 30 or 40 laps, the drivers would be working harder, and we’d soon notice the difference.
