#TJ13 #F1 Courtroom Podcast: “That Difficult 28th Album”

I told you we shouldn’t have bought the equipment from Honda…

The podcast does a Force India this week and arrives late. In the name of balance, it also does a Honda and is properly broken. SpannersReady had his hands full editing it, as the Gods of Broadband were spanking Skype all through the recording.

Back to the panel, from the distant shores of Americaland, it’s Matt Trumpets, the only one at TJ13, who can make sense of the convoluted mess that FIA calls ‘the rules’. That should tell you, how sad that man’s life must be. Guess New York is snowed in again or something…

With him is our boy from Italy, the master of the News, Carlo “Grumpy Jackal” Carluccio. Carlo is so poor, he only has an annoying telephone for a pet.

Number three on the panel is TJ13’s Chief Executive Crayons Officer, graphics dude extra-ordinäire and social media expert, Craig Alderson, commonly known in the TJ13 bunker as Kr.

And last, but most certainly not least, we have Chief Editor Andrew Huntley-Jacobs, who surrendered the commentary booth to its fate and the unpredictable Hippo to add his voice of reason to this week’s episode.

iTunes 5 star reviews: We would also like to take this opportunity to ask you all for your support. As the TJ13 community grows the Podcast is becoming a huge part of the journey. From recent chats within the F1 paddock in Jerez we have found it is establishing a following within the world of F1 and we would like to continue to grow and make TJ13 the number one site for F1 information across the globe.

  1. We did suffer with some Skype crap this week . I’d just like to thank the guys who watched the live stream this week and participated in the live chat room. Having you guys along for the recording made it so much more rewarding. I hope you’ll be back next week.

p.s I don’t look like Sheldon Cooper or Bob Hoskins

  2. Listened to this tonight while cleaning up after a dinner… had me chuckling while cleaning pots and plates. Well done!

Interesting discussion about Pascal Wehrlein… I’ll confess that I’ve been following European F3 for a few seasons and Pascal was one to watch there. He was spectacular at his last F3 meeting, which was Monza 2014. It rained, it was hairy, and he won of the three races, and came 2nd and 3rd in the other two.

I’d like to see what he can do in F1…

    • IDK if you’re still soliciting questions for the show participants, but I have one… (been sitting on this for a few days).

What type of racing have you done? (Karting, race sims, track days, club racing, moto-x, etc).

  3. If you need a word with the gods of broadband … Well if I ever encountered any it was the Andrews and Arnold ISP.. Aka. AAISP

it’s a shameless plug for some guys I happen to like a lot but the USP they truly alone have is they stand out proudly as not keeping any logs like other broadband companies. This fact is even in The Hansard following a Lords debate on online privacy. And that stance is credible if you research it.

So I hope my shameless plug is mitigated by the public service value!

That said, being in London so no idea how coverage is outside the City proper, but Skype works a beaut on my mobile and I treat it like a second phone line..
