Now that you have had time to reflect who was your driver of the weekend? This takes into account not just the race but the whole weekend, from FP1 until post race interviews. Please vote and use the comments section to tell us why you voted for a particular driver.
Daniel Ricciardo DotW, exclusuvely for his race performance.
Honourable mention to Raikkonen’s race performance too. And honourable mention to Rosberg for continuing to show World Championship mettle, and why he’s a stronger competitor (race) and faster driver (quali) than his once vaunted team mate.
@SIS: Just say “all the white guys” and save yourself some time…
So I’m a racist now, am I?
Super intelligent comment. Well done. Don’t really expect much more from you and your cohorts.
A special thanks to the author for including Kobayashi in the poll. That previous article must really have sapped all your creative energy…
Lotterer gets my vote for coming tom nowhere, not having driven an F1 car in 10 years, and out qualifying his teammate. That the car expired in the race was likely no fault of his.
Re: Koby
I voted for him, didn’t put a foot wrong all weekend.
Errr.. held over to Monza. It was a great race but there wasn’t much inspirational driving. Dan won and did so in a pretty fuss-free manner but it wasn’t very compelling in itself.
Anyone who did well mucked up other stuff along the way.
I agree. No real outstanding drivers.
That’s why I voted for Kamui Kobayashi. He didn’t make a single driving error.
