  1. 8 out of 10. It had everything except a big crash.mixed strategies are always fun. Funny to see how vettel went on and won it against all the simulation and “people who must know a lot” odds.

  2. Entretaining race towards the end, mid part a bit boring as you couldn’t really say whose doing well due to different strategies and not much wheel to wheel racing. Also the tyre selection was a joke, those one 2-5 lap tyres are a bit too much if the other option is 30-45 lap. It doesn’t really give many strategy options, it’s only about when to do that mandatory quick stint (and in Kimi’s case is it worth to change tyres for one fastest lap.).

I think with a bit better tyre selection and more even field, India could give us really good racing.

Unfortunately Vettel and red bull are so dominant that his strategy doesn’t matter, he would have won in any strategy you could think of. Not saying he does not deserve the wins, but his dominance doesn’t make Indian GP to be remembered for the races they have had, and if noone misses it, it won’t come back so easily. And I think it’s one of the better new tracks.

  3. An 8 for me. A great track rewarding fast and able drivers. I hope the teams had their smog masks on, it looked dreadful on TV! A race for the modern F1 idiom demanding strategic planning with fast tactical response when things don’t go as planned. Looking forward to voting fo Romain for best driver.

  4. 8 for me… I enjoyed the race, the whole weekend really. It was shaping up to be a Red Bull whitewash anyway but with Lotus getting Grosjean wrong in quali.. Massa thumping Alonso (how many times have we seen that? I like this Massa)

So if Lotus got Grosjean right could have had won? Def second in there for him and I think we have a future world champ in him. (these crash kids are good! 🙂 )
