Superb tyre’s management, extracted the most from his car, behaved properly in regard to his team mate, an excellent 3 days overall. Very commendable ability to ignore the negative environment surrounding him.

Romain was brilliant as Vettel, but we are used to Seb performances. Mention of honour to Button as well.
Seb for me. Breaking his July duck and superb drive to win the race.
I went for Grosjean, nice clean weekend and was only really let down by strategy call, although that was totally understandable. I thought Lotus had pulled a master stroke when they split the strategy on the last pit stop, Red Bull couldn’t cover both so was interesting that RB picked the one that led them to victory, a call that I’m not so sure McLaren et al would have come up with! Good race I thought, particularly liked the letting cars loose on track as an obstacle!
Any of the 3 drivers of the podium are worthy mentions as Driver of the Day (though I’ll never warm to Grosjean as one good performance doesn’t make up for the sea of average ones he delivers, not to mention his uncanny ability to crash).
I voted for Raikkönen, strong drive from him. The bit I liked ? His team asking him if he could go on till the end with the hard tyre and he yelled back : “I TOLD YOU ALREADY !” 😀
Grosjean displayed some timidity during the race despite his obvious speed and Vettel did what was required of him supported by the team. Webber would have been there with him if the pit stop disaster had not happened. Difficult choice this time as no driver was outstanding. However overall I picked Hamilton for his superb pole position and gutsy, but safe overtaking during the race. Can’t understand the tyre problems Mercedes were having despite the test!
1. Grosjean (I reckon helped by kevlar belts/2012 rears)
2. Button (Got the most out of the poor McLaren)
3. Hulkenberg (Similar with the Sauber)
Mentions to Maldonado (same as above), Vettel’s cool win, Raikkonen’s passing and Hamilton’s Q. Also loving the comedy vote for Max Chilton, but although he lacked pace in Q, he did well in the race to battle with the Caterhams if I remember correctly. But the most notable Marussia moment was rolling back down the straight.. F1 has picked up a comedy routine or two these last few months… Hope the cameraman recovers soon, poor him for being a foil; concur with Kravitz that it must have been a terrible inevitability of being hurt badly, seeing that tyre bouncing down the pit lane.
